NEW HD STATIONS LAUNCHED
QC LAVAL 105.7 CFGL-HD1 816 watts. Hot AC (French). Rythme FM. Simulcasts CFGL 105.7 Laval.

PROGRAMMING CHANGES ON THE AIR
ON LONDON 93.5 CBCL Drops 100% simulcast of CBLA 99.1 Toronto and replaces it with a limited amount of locally produced CBC Radio One programming (effective June 12).

CRTC & ISEDC DECISIONS

AM TO FM CONVERSIONS GRANTED
ON MARATHON 107.5 CBLM Move from 1090. Will operate with 3,935 watts.

TECHNICAL CHANGES GRANTED
ON KINGSTON 91.9 CKVI Increase power from 7 to 436 watts (7 to 2,000 watts Max. ERP). Lower antenna height.
ON ORILLIA 90.7 CBL-3 Increase power from 4,800 to 5,500 watts. Lower antenna height.
ON ORILLIA 91.5 CBCO Increase power from 5,200 to 13,520 watts (11,200 to 13,520 watts Max. ERP). Lower antenna height. Change radiation pattern from directional to non-directional.
ON PETERBOROUGH 98.7 CBCP Decrease power from 10,170 to 5,442 watts (19,150 to 12,438 watts Max. ERP). Raise antenna height.
ON PETERBOROUGH 103.9 CBBP Decrease power from 17,300 to 5,831 watts (26,000 to 12,438 watts Max. ERP). Raise antenna height.
ON PETERBOROUGH 106.3 CJBC-5 Decrease power from 9,500 to 5,858 watts (13,000 to 12,438 watts Max. ERP). Raise antenna height.
QC LA SARRE 92.5 CJMM-1 Increase power from 2,200 to 6,000 watts. Raise antenna height.
QC WASKAGANISH 103.5 CBFH Increase power from 55 to 112 watts. Lower antenna height. Relocate transmitter.
QC WASKAGANISH 105.1 CBMQ Increase power from 55 to 112 watts. Lower antenna height. Relocate transmitter.

OWNERSHIP CHANGES APPROVED
AB GRANDE PRAIRIE 96.3 CJGY From Grande Prairie Radio to Golden West Broadcasting. Includes CJGY-1 97.1 Fort St. John, B.C. and CJGY-2 96.7 Dawson Creek, B.C.
BC RICHMOND 650 CISL From Newcap to Rogers. Will flip to Sports by the end of summer.

PROGRAMMING CHANGES GRANTED
ON TORONTO 91.9 CHIN-1 Drop 100% simulcast of CHIN 1540 Toronto and replace it with locally produced Multilingual programming.

EXTENSIONS TO CP’s GRANTED
ON MAYNOOTH 94.7 CKJJ-5 United Christian Broadcasters has until June 16, 2018 to get this new 50 watt Christian station on the air.

GOING OFF THE AIR
AB WETASKIWIN 93.5 CIHS Sukhdev Singh Dhillon voluntarily surrendered the broadcastiing license for this 5,120 watt facility. No further information is available, however Mr. Dhillon has been on the CRTC’s radar screen for a number of years regarding non-compliance issues at this station.
ON TERRACE BAY 1010 CBEH Will go dark when CBLM 1090 in Marathon moves to 107.5 FM.

BC ROSE PRAIRIE 107.5 Community. 50 watts. Aboriginal-Christian. CIAM Media & Radio Broadcasting. Will simulcast CIAM 92.7 Fort Vermilion with local PSA’s & ID’s.

PROPOSED TECHNICAL CHANGES
BC POWELL RIVER 90.1 CJMP Increase power from 6.6 to 14.7 watts (10 to 15 watts Max. ERP). Relocate transmitter.

PROPOSED CONDITION OF LICENSE CHANGES
QC DONNACONA 100.9 CHXX Wishes to remove the condition of license that requires a studio be located in Donnacoma with 14 hours local programming per week. All operations will then be located in Quebec City.
